This year marks our seventh appearance at the Lord/Lady Mayor’s Show, a proud tradition that reflects our role in the City’s vibrant cultural tapestry. We are one of the seven “697 Women’s Floats”, paying tribute to women’s legacy, wisdom, grace, and leadership.

Our float embodies the theme “Celebrating Women and Cultural Connection.” The float, titled “Chinese Pearl • Beautiful Zhuji,” celebrates cultural heritage and the timeless connection between China and the UK through the beauty of pearls, women, and craftsmanship. It is inspired by Lady Xishi, one of China’s legendary Four Beauties, symbolising elegance and intelligence.

Zhejiang Province, a dynamic coastal region with over 55 million residents, stands as one of China’s most prosperous economic powerhouses — home to the world’s busiest cargo port, the largest international wholesale market, and global innovators such as Alibaba and DeepSeek. Building on these strong roots, ZJUKA continues to promote trade, investment, and innovation partnerships between the UK and China, supported by local entrepreneurs and philanthropists who have championed our mission since inception.
